The fine art about cloisonne
Our cloisonne pins is the fine-art tradition of glass enameling, it started in China centuries age. The pins are made from hand-prouing powdered glass into the recesses of a die-struck (stamped) brass base. The brass can be plated in gold, silver,or nickel. After being baked at a very high temperature, the glass enamel is sanded and polished to be flush with the metal lines that separate the colors. This gives the pins a smooth and lustrous quality.
Epola pins are made using the same technique as the Cloisonne, but the recessed spaces are filled with a hard epoxy enamel rather than glass. The Epola filling gives a beautiful, high quality look similar to that of the Cloisonne, but at a lower price and with Pantone color options. Gold, silver or others.

For a more three-dimensional look we rcommend using pewter or zinc alloy molded pins. Melted pewter or zinc alloy is poured into a mold created from your design. After it cools, the pins is polished smooth and plated. This method allows for very small detail and cut out lettering.

The basic die-struck pin gives a classic dimensional look without adding color, It is made from either brass or steel that is stamped with the pin design and cut out. The metal base is then plated with gold, silver or nickel, and can be antiqued , sandblasted , or simply polished.
The die-struck soft enamel pin has less expensive than epola, with this style, a soft enamel is painted into the recesses of the brass die-struck base, leaving a relief effect that lets you feel the die-struck pattern. if you like, you can add a clear epoxy dome for long-lasting durability and a shiny, finished look. If the material is steel, we can create a pin that is cheaper and lighter.
The silkscreen-printed pin is an excellent choice of color pins with small details. Your artwork is perfectly reproduced onto a shaped metal base without the need for metal lines separating the PMS colors. Add a clear epoxy dome for durability and a shiny, finished look.
